I used the Enjoy Life Pancake mix to whip up a batch of donuts this morning. Enjoy Life is a company that produces foods that are gluten-free and free-from the top 8 most common allergens (hence the ‘everything-free’ name for these donuts). This recipe used 3 ingredients (1 is optional!) to make a batch of 5 mini-donuts that are just 37kcals each: 1g protein, 5.8g carbs, 1g fat.
The texture of these is really nice – dense & moist inside, and crispy around the edges. I added a packet of Devotion Nutrition Birthday Cake Flex Flavors to make them a Bday Cake Flavor!
Recipe & Directions:
- 1/4 cup (40grams) Enjoy Life Pancake mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon oil
- (optional) 1 packet Devotion Birthday cake
- mix and cook in donut maker 5-7minutes (here is the donut maker I use)
I had mine dipped in some protein Ice cream! 🙂 — ice cream also had a BDAY cake flex flavor added in 🙂
I was a little bored on the treadmill today, so here was an interval I did after my CARVE6 lift . It uses pace and music. (if you are on Spotify, I am clementson21 if you want some running/workout music ideas – I have a christian list, a christian/secular mix, a clean workout list that I have for my middle school PE classes, & a throwback list)
- start new song
- run easy pace 1 minute (6mph for me)
- run medium pace 1 minute (7mph)
- run hard pace 1 minute (8mph)
- skip to next song and repeat interval!
