Post Race PB Pumpkin Pie Protein Waffle

I completed my 6th half marathon this morning. Not my best time, but it was my best effort given the 92% humidity and that I got a side cramp in mile 2. 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️. I let go of my goal time, & eased back a bit and just focused on finishing the race & not dying 😆… I took walking breaks at every water/gatorade stop (every 2miles) & think that helped a lot.   So I ended with a 1:45 (8min/mile average) which I’m happy with. 

There was a couple from Houston there racing, & just kept it all in perspective. I feel blessed to have been able to run the race, and get home to my husband and fur babies and relax. 

This was the Waffle I whipped up to “celebrate” finishing! 

Peanut Butter Pumpkin Pie protein Waffle

  • For the topping, I mixed 3tbsp of PB2 with some water, Splenda, and 75g of Greek yogurt 
  • Then added 10 Reese’s pieces to the top! 💕👍🏼

I made the waffle with Slap Cinnamon Streusel Whey protein, and also had 2 gains in bulk digestive enzymes before the meal :). For discounts on both, see here
